Terms and Condition

Quality of our food?
We will always produce food that both tastes and looks amazing, we will always use locally produced ingredients whenever possible and forage high quality local wild food. Every dish is homemade with love.

Standard and safety?

All chefs that produce Thyme for Tiffin food are well trained and professional, our kitchen is always kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

Changes to menus?

Every season our Luxury Afternoon Tea will change and adapt to incorporate the finest wild food, all catering jobs we work on will also use in season ingredients that are locally produced by small farms local to the Calder Valley. If there is a particular dish you’ve seen and would like to try but its not on our seasonal menus please get in touch as we will try and make this for you regardless.

Ingedients and suppliers?

It highly important to us that we use the best quality and also environmentally friendly food, this is why we hand choose all our vegetables from local organic producers. We are proud to support local, buy local and collaborate with other small local busineses. Trained foragers will also gather the finest quality wild food whenever available to create flavours you can really connest with.

Equipment for catering?

We pride ourselves on serving our dishes on attractive enamel and silver platters.

We can provide plates, napkins, cutlery aswell as table decoration , these will all be an additional fee.

Will we ever substitute?

As we believe strongly in using locally grown and produced food sometimes last minute substitutions may be made, we will always contact you about this before.

Dietary requirements and allergens?

We are happy to cater for any dietary requirements and all our dishes can be altered for such.
When ordering a mix of dietary requirements in one order, all will be separated on different platters to keep cross contamination to a minimum.
We are happy to provide Gluten and nut free dishes but we cannot guarantee there will not be traces as they will be prepared in a kitchen containing both, because of such we do not recommend our food is consumed by Ceoliacs or anyone with seveer nut allergies.

Loaning equipment?

You have the option to be loaned or hire some equitpment from us, this equipment remains the property of  Thyme for Tiffin, it is your responasility to have this washed ready for us to collect or alternatively were happy for you to drop back to our kitchen at your conveniance. Any breakages or loss of equipment will be invoiced at cost.

Ordering?
Orders are preferred to be taken via our online shop but if you are struggerling you can make an order via the contact form on the website. Catering events are ordered via the contact form as each is designed unique to you and your needs. Last minute orders can be requested via txt or watsap on 07703109859 and if we have availability we will always try to fit you in.

Cancellations and deposits?

Cake, afternoon tea and gift box orders may be cancelled and refunded two weeks prior to delivery date. After this date you will not be refunded but you will be given the option to re book for a later date. If we need to cancel your order for any reason a full refund will be given.

All catering orders and Wedding Cakes require a 50% deposit to secure the date of your event, once booked your deposit is non refundable, catering jobs can take over a week to prepare for as so Thyme For Tiffin will not except any other orders around your event, cancelled events cost the company and so deposits will only be refunded at fault of Thyme For Tiffin.

The Delivery?
Your delivery will be made by Thyme For Tiffin, we are happy to deliver anywhere it is needed, any catering deliveries will be set up by us to ensure a high standard of presentation.

Mistakes?
Despite our best efforts mistakes may happen, we are only human. If there is ever any problem with an order,if there is something missing or incorrect please contact us immediately and we will make sure to rectify the situation.

Pricing?

Menu prices may change throughout the season, we will always be fair with our pricing and believe to be competitive and of great value.

Bespoke catering menu prices will be different for each customer , any quoted price is changeable to fit your needs and budget.

Delivery Charges?

Delivery is free in the area of Hebden Bridge , delivery further afield is charged at 0.70p per mile. Deliveries for large catering events may be delivered further afield for less, this can be requested on orering.

Invoicing?

We will always email an invoice to you.

Terms of Payment?
Orders can be paid using Paypal or bank transfer.

Complaints?
If you are unsatisfied please do not hesitate to get in touch either by email or online contact form and we will do everything we can to rectify.
